Managing virtual teams has been a hot topic for the past few years. Nowadays, it is much more likely that team members will work from home, their cars, alternative locations, or even on the other side of the world, meaning that managers will rarely see them. Managers who are asked to lead these virtual or remote teams not only face the usual leadership dilemmas, but also need to adapt to these challenges in an environment where the rules have changed.
